Summary
The Spring Music Festival is a celebration of music from the southern Ontario region, showcasing independent, mid-level, and headlining acts. It will take place May 12-15, 2005 in the city of Hamilton at 10 of the citys hippest clubs & pubs. Your band can be chosen for a showcase spotlight, and have a track added to the Official Spring Music Festival soundtrack. The CD will be distributed to more than 25 Canadian and American major and independent record labels. The CD will be limited to no more than 12 listed tracks.
Last year's event sponsors included Y108, Cable-14, Long & McQuade, Shure Microphone, Athens Printing and Sonicbids. Past event performers include Three Days Grace, Junkhouse, The Miniatures, Barlow, Andy Stochanski, High Holy Days, Jack De Keyzer, and many others.
All genres of music accepted with a focus on rock, heavy music/new metal and one reggae bash
