Summary
Springtime Tallahassee celebrates its 40th Anniversary on March 28, 2008 with a parade and jubilee in the park expected to draw more than 200,000 people. The event features the finest arts and crafts vendors, gourmet foods, entertainment and parade floats from around the southeast.
There will be three entertainment stages located throughout the Jubilee. Each stage will have a theme such as rock/pop, Christian/country, and a stage for performing arts. Springtime Tallahassee will provide stages and sound equipment to all selected entertainers.
Artists will be selected based on quality and originality. Springtime Tallahassee strives to maintain a family atmosphere at our Jubilee meaning that any profanities or obscenities by performing artists is prohibited. Types of artists being sought include (but are not limited to Alternative, Jazz, Childrens Entertainment, Oldies, Contemporary Pop, Country, Performing Arts, Classical, International (World) and Rock n Roll.
Most performers selected for the festival are local although it is not a requirement. However, be aware before submitting that there is no compensation offered. The value of the opportunity is the huge potential for exposure.
