Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to the SRP Garage Band Competition, now accepting submissions from bands comprised of at least 50 percent high school or college students. Bands will compete and advance through multiple rounds of vote and live performance. The top high school and college band will perform on the main stage before a national headlining act (TBD) in front of nearly 15,000 people./n/nThe SRP Garage Band Competition is now accepting submissions from bands comprised of at least 50 percent high school or college students. Bands will compete and advance through several rounds of online voting at www.ecollegetimes.com; live performances at Desert Ridge Marketplace, Tempe Marketplace and Alice Cooperstown; and a television broadcast on Cox Channel 7. Semifinalists will perform at the 2010 Circle K Tempe Music Festival at the SRP Music Shack on April 10, 2010. The top high school and college band will perform on the main stage before a national headlining act (TBD) in front of nearly 15,000 people.


Last year, the winners opened for the All American Rejects and 3 Doors Down. Winners will also receive a music scholarship from SRP that can be donated to any school music program in the state of Arizona.
