Summary

Wiggle Social Network is hosting the charity event, Stand Your Ground, which will benefit Free the Children (of Toronto). Stand Your Ground is looking for 5-10 bands to play on May 11th, 2011. There are 3 slots reserved for Sonicbids Artists located specifically in Canada or the USA. Artists will not receive monetary compensation, but will be receiving maximum exposure prior to and during event with banners, advertising, etc for the entire event. Mainstream genres such as hip hop, RnB, pop, rock, etc are preferred (please no progressive music, such as metal, goth, screamo, etc). The venue will provide a PA system, sound engineer and professional tech crew, but artists must bring their own instruments. International bands may have option of discounted flight tickets exclusively through Air Canada.



Affiliated with Wiggle Social Network and in support of Free The Children, Stand Your Ground (SYG) is an initiative to bring Youths and Adults together on one day to inspire each other to stand our ground. The all day event is held on May 11th, 2011 at Copps Coliseum, with the intent to raise awareness of the right to live without abuse. Tickets will be sold through ticketmaster exclusively, but bands will also be given tickets to sell. All the revenue made on ticket sales go directly to the charity.
