Stasis Magazine

Stasis Magazine is an online and print magazine that was started by artists, musicians and various people in the music and art Industry who know how hard it is not only to get your talents seen and heard, but also to get them to the next step.



The goal of Stasis Magazine is to blend successful national and international artists with up and coming independent artists in a way where they can both feed off of each other's talents and successes, giving that much more exposure to all involved. The magazine will also include comic relief and satire of the Music Industry with thought-out comic strips created by Frizzy Hair Designs, new & impressive artwork from up and coming artists as well as monthly studio and recording tips by Tony D'Antuono from IRONHORSE Digital Media, who has worked with Kansas, MS Music Fest 2005, and many others.



Through interviews, CD & DVD reviews, compilation CDs, special live events, forums and various other press and promotional outlets, Stasis Magazine offers exposure and press to the great artists striving to get their voices heard while putting them next to the artists and idols who helped inspire them to gain those voices.



For the inaugural issue, one Sonicbids Artist will be chosen as a Featured Artist and will be given the opportunity to perform in New York at the Official Stasis Magazine Launch Party! (Date To Be Announced at a Later Date). For this one issue only, a SECOND Sonicbids Artist will be chosen also as a Featured Artist, but without the performance opportunity. Our first issue will feature Earl Slick who has performed and written with David Bowie, John Lennon, Ian Hunterand the Stray Cats on the cover.

From Issue 2 forward, one artist per issue will be selected from Sonicbids to be a Featured Artist of the Month. Featured artists are interviewed, & reviewed and will receive a CD Review and DVD or Video Review (if you have one) both print and online. We will promote and link your website and anything that you have in the works and/or in progress. The online transcripts will also be saved and forever archived on the Magazine's website for further promotion.



Stasis is starting off on a bi-monthly basis (once every 2-months) and hopes to become monthly in the near future. The magazine is available for free at various locations throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Mississippi and Alabama. The website will continue to archive the previous month's features for continuous exposure of all artists involved with this magazine. There are also lively, daily formats to offer the site’s visitors an ongoing community.



At the end of each year, we will put together and distribute a Stasis Magazine Featured Artists Compilation CD where the top featured Independent Artists of the year will have a song included. The CD is funded for and distributed at no cost to the bands, all at the forefront of StasisMag.com, Crooked Halo Productions, and Frizzy Hair Designs. By submitting for editorial coverage in Stasis magazine, you will also be considered for this compilation.



All genres are accepted except for Rap & Hip-Hop.
