The Pub is the community gathering place for the neighborhood of Del Ray in Alexandria, VA. It is looking to book local (primarily) to touring solo artists and bands to perform live on Wednesdays through Saturdays. St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub welcomes all folk, jazz, blues, pop, country, and world music artists. Artists must be able to draw at least 50 people to the show and be 21 years and older to play. Here’s what selected artists get:

• Artists will be compensated $25-$50. This amount will be negotiated at the time of booking.


• Food and beverages.


• St. Elmo’s sends out a musical calendar to local papers, with selected artists included.


• Artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and sound equipment. Please note: Drum kits are not allowed at this venue.

About the venue:


St. Elmo's is an eclectic, laid-back place best compared with the coffee house on the show "Friends.” They are best suited for acoustic artists, though they have had quite the variety of music/musicians play there. Nora Partlow and her former business partner Scott Mitchell opened St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub in April of 1996.
