StoryChimes - Licence Music in App for Children's Stories

They are brought to life by beautiful illustrations, music, narration and sound FX, and are truly interactive storybooks.

StoryChimes is looking for 7 tracks in a wide variety of genres to license for accompanying tracks to their stories. They believe that one of the best ways to make the app successful is to set kid-friendly music to each story. StoryChimes will pay a flat $400 licensing fee for all selected songs

They are looking for songs to set to the following adaptations:

• The Queen Bee - adapted from the Grimm Brothers’ tale. Three princes (who are brothers) encounter a castle turned into stone. They must complete 3 challenges to return it to its natural beauty. The brother who is viewed as a nuisance and “simple”, ends up winning.

• Little Red-Riding Hood The classic story of a young girl in the woods who encounters the big bad wolf.

• Benjaminʼs Walk In The Wood A very short and cute story about a Benjamin strolling through woods and his discoveries.

• The Red Shoes - adapted from the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. It revolves around the story of a poor orphan girl who longs to be more. She is given a magic pair of shoes, and ends up falling in love with a soldier.

• Grandpas Garden Another adventure for you Benjamin as he discovers all the wonders of Grandpa’s Garden!

• The Three Little Pigs their take on the cute tale of the piggies and the wolf who threatens to “huff and puff and blow your house down!” Itss much more kid friendly than the original text, but with an Animaniacs slant of humor.

• Cinderella Cinderella, Prince, Fairy Godmother, midnight, nough said.

StoryChimes is launching late September - in time for the school year and will be available exclusively at the App store when they debut.

StoryChimes is made up of a collection of entertainment industry professionals looking to take children’s stories to a whole new level so they can be enjoyed again and again. They have filmmakers, graphic design artists, writers, illustrators and musicians too.

Please note Artists must completely own the publishing rights to all songs submitted.
