Student Run Records - Roster Expansion

The deadline is coming soon to submit to Student Run Records. They are seeking to expand their community of talent. Their artists have access to The Institute of Production and Recording’s (IPR) award-winning studios, including Master Mix (one of the most highly regarded studios in the Mid-West.)/n/nStudent Run Records is an independent record label located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It began as a class within the Music and Entertainment Business program at the Institute of Production and Recording, eventually evolving into an actual student run, non-profit business.



Student Run Records is eagerly seeking to expand their community of talent. Their artists have access to The Institute of Production and Recording’s (IPR) award-winning studios, including Master Mix (one of the most highly regarded studios in the Mid-West.)



So far, Student Run Records has helped upcoming artists Loose Crew, Prophis, and F.A. They are constantly searching for ways to increase their interaction with other industry professionals, such as last March when the members of Student Run Records attended South By South West (SXSW), the largest music festival and conference in the U.S.



The mission of Student Run Records is to education the new generation of media professionals so they may develop and nurture a community of exceptional artists. Their non-profit status is because of the educational purpose of the label, but it doesn’t undercut the drive and passion found in full force at Student Run Records.
