Summary
Studio K is a new venue opening September 2007 in Amsterdam.
The venue is unique because of the multiple functions and art forms it shelters under one roof. Studio K is a cinema (art-house), theatre, live venue and night club all in one. It has multiple halls that have been designed with flexibility in mind. Telescopic platforms enable seated and standing concerts, unlike other venues that want more and more capacity for their halls. Studio K chooses to keep the capacity of its halls intimate, but does provide the facilities and hospitality found only in large venues.
Most bookings will be done two or three months in advance, but spots are kept open for short notice bookings. Touring bands are welcome to submit their EPKs. Compensation, backline, P.A. and lighting are provided.
This opportunity is open to Dutch and International touring artists as well!
