Summary

Sullivan Hall is a 345 capacity music and event venue located in Greenwich Village in downtown Manhattan near the New York University community that opened January of 2008. They book live music 5-6 nights a week, with an average of 5 artists per evening. They are interested in alternative rock, indie, funk, jam, groove, and experimental.



Run and operated by CEG, Inc., a multi-faceted concert promotion and management company, Sullivan Hall was created to be an ideal venue for both performers and fans alike. The venue is equipped with a state of the art sound and lighting system and the space provides near perfect sight lines. Even on a sold out show, you will have an intimate experience with your favorite performers at Sullivan Hall.



Sullivan Hall will provide most of the backline. Drummers must bring a snare drum, all hardware, cymbal stands, hi-hat stand, bass pedal, throne and anything else they need that is not listed in the advance. There is an in-house engineer and lighting person.



Sullivan Hall has been host to Benevento/Russo Duo’s Marco Benevento during a January residency including Medeski Martin & Wood’s Billy Martin, The Slip’s Andrew & Brad Barr, Galactic’s Stanton Moore, Skerik, and many others.



Besides Marco Benevento & Friends, featured performers have included Dub Is A Weapon; The New Mastersounds; Hot 8 Brass Band; Quintus/The Restless/The New Rivals; Eric Lindell/The Dynamites feat. Charles Walker; Lettuce feat.
