Sullivan Hall is a 345 capacity music and event venue located in Greenwich Village in downtown Manhattan near the New York University community that will open in the beginning of January 2008. They book live music 5-6 nights a week, with an average of 5 artists per evening. They are interested in alternative rock, indie, funk, jam, groove, and experimental.

Run and operated by CEG, Inc, a multi-faceted concert promotion and management company, Sullivan Hall was created to be an ideal venue for both performers and fans alike. The venue is equipped with a state of the art sound and lighting system, and the space has near perfect sight lines. Sullivan Hall will provide most of the backline. Drummers must bring a snare drum, all hardware, cymbal stands, hi-hat stand, bass pedal, throne and anything else they need that is not listed in the advance. There is an in-house engineer and lighting person.

He’ll be performing with different special guests every Thursday in January, including Medeski Martin & Wood’s Billy Martin, The Slip’s Andrew & Brad Barr, Galactic’s Stanton Moore, Skerik, and many others.
