Head-On Entertainment's 2009 Summer Concerts at the Avenue

This community music series has been successfully run by Head-On Entertainment, Inc. for 8+ years. The series proudly represents a very cultural mix of music and primarily features original local and regional artists (sometimes a national headliner passing through town). This free to the public music series runs every weekend from Memorial Day - Labor Day.



Selected artists will receive compensation based on experience and draw. Performances are typically two hours 7-9pm (two sets with one break). Sound is typically provided by the artist but may be provided upon request; stage and lighting provided. A minimum of 5 performance slots are reserved for Sonicbids members. No solo acts are accepted; bands only. National acts may submit, but are limited in the selection process.

Genres accepted: Americana, reggae, celtic, zydeco, roots, African, salsa, funk, folk, rock, blues, country and Indie. Please no top 40 cover bands!


Past artists include Kelly Bell, Donegal X-Press, Raining Jane, Gregg Hatza, Runba Club, Mama Jama, The Crawdaddies, (S)HE, The New Relics, Roger Drawdy and the Firestarters, The Remnants, Curly and The Rocket, Maurice John Vaughn Revue, Coppersonic, dont panic, etc
