Summer Songs of Hope

Dare Theatre Inc., Hearts Open Toronto, and Sound Grove Inc. are pleased to be producing an event supporting Toronto musician and songwriter Ruthann Springle in making Toronto a new host city for the Frontier Horizons Ukrainian Summer hosting program. Frontier Horizon has been supporting immediate and long-term needs of orphans and impoverished children and families in the Ukraine and Nicaragua since it was established in 2001. The children selected for the program have generally been in the orphanages a significant part of their childhood and are now older with little chance for adoption in the Ukraine.



The event will be on June 19th at the Great Hall in Toronto. Artists will perform 2-3 songs. They are looking for musicians and bands that perform their own material and are willing to have the event included in videos and compilation CDs.





Ruthann Springle is working to expand the Frontier Horizons program to Toronto permanently, with 5 children in the summer program in Toronto Jul 3-31, 2009



This event is intended to be an annual fundraiser for this program and will be professionally recorded and videoed for continuing promotion of the Frontier horizon's program throughout the upcoming year.
