Summary
The Alternate Root will be hosting a Summer Songs sampler featuring songs that have anything to do with summer, beaches, water, sun, baseball, food and friends. Selected tracks will be put up on the magazine website for voting, and Songs With Vision will select 25 tracks for the compilation. The last sampler Alternate Root compiled was for their Valentine's sampler and had over 15,000 views and 5,000 votes./n/nThe Alternate Root will be hosting a Summer Songs sampler featuring artists from Sonicbids. Selected tracks will be put up on the magazine website for voting, and Songs With Vision will select 25 tracks for the compilation. A minimum of three Sonicbids artists will be selected for this opportunity. They are interested in songs that have anything to do with summer, beaches, water, sun, baseball, food and friends.
The last compilation from Alternate Root was their Social Change sampler, which has already had 15,000 views. Their previous compilation, the Valentine's sampler had over 15,000 views and 5,000 votes, with five Sonicbids artists securing slots in the top ten most popular. Additionally, Sonicbids artist Billy Franks got the highest voted slot on the album. This sampler will feature songs about summer and will be a FREE sampler.
The Alternate Root has had a total of 15,000 downloads of their two previous samplers. They will also be submitting the sampler to music blogs, some of whom have posted tracks and links.
