Summary

SunFest is Florida's largest music, art, and waterfront festival. It features over 50 bands, on three stages, for five days over the first weekend in May. 2010's lineup included Weezer, ZZ Top, Ben Harper and Relentless7, the Flaming Lips, Rise Against, The B-52’s, Damian Marley, Nas, The Charlie Daniels Band, and more. Selected artists will be compensated for their performances./n/nSunFest, Florida's largest music, art, and waterfront festival is held along the scenic Flagler waterfront in West Palm Beach, FL. SunFest features over 50 bands, on three stages, for five days over the first weekend in May. 2010's festival saw over 280,000 people in attendance over 5 days and was headlined by Weezer, ZZ Top, Shinedown, and Ben Harper and Relentless7.



As one of the most well recognized events in the southeast, SunFest presents a range of musical from legends to up-and-comers. The festival features a diverse music line up of local, regional and national performers in all genres over 3 main stages. Selected artists will be compensated for their performances, however travel expenses will not be reimbursed. The festival typically has 55-60 artists perform each year.



2010's lineup included Weezer, ZZ Top, Shinedown, Ben Harper and Relentless7, Patti LaBelle, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Flaming Lips, Rise Against, The B-52’s,Damian Marley, Nas, Five For Fighting, Flogging Molly, Sister Hazel, Better than Ezra, Marcus Miller, Classic Albums Live, and The Charlie Daniels Band, and more.


History of SunFest:

Founded in 1982, SunFest is Florida's largest waterfront music and art festival. Held annually in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida the first week in May, SunFest attracts more than 280,000 visitors. The festival and the patrons that it attracts have a very positive impact on the community.



SunFest is produced by SunFest of Palm Beach County, Inc., a private 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. SunFest of Palm Beach County, Inc., celebrating its 28th year, consists of a 21-member board of directors; 25 committees; more than 3,000 volunteers; a full time, year-round staff of 7; and approximately 100 corporate sponsors. SunFest 2010 is funded in part by the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council through the Palm Beach County Cultural Council. SunFest is also sponsored in part by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, and the Florida Arts Council.
