The festival's dream to put on a jazz festival that would bring together some of the nation's top music makers has been a reality for over twenty years, entertaining enthusiastic crowds and exposing talented jazz artists.

Dedicated Jazz artists (with a focus on the ragtime, swing, and big band genres) are encouraged to submit for a chance to perform during the festival. Compensation is dependent on how many sets artists play, how many members are in the band, etc. The selected will also join more than forty musical groups: trios, quartets, octets, and big bands. In addition, 200 talented musicians from around the nation, Canada and Europe, will perform at nearly 300 70-minute performances in a dozen venues in the scenic, prestigious resort village.

Past performers include: Bill Allred's Classic Jazz Band, The Big Bang Jazz Band, Blue Renditions, Blue Street Jazz Band, Brady McKay, P,B & J and more.

The success of the event over the last twenty years is tied to the quality of music presented as well as the draw of the location. Selected artists will receive massive exposure and networking capabilities.
