Swept Away TV is a nationally distributed teen music/pop culture TV show. They are national winners of a 2004 AEGIS AWARD and finalists in the Billboard Music Video Awards for Regional Programs. Swept Away Television is seen in 42 markets including NYC, Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta and Phoenix and is estimated to be available in 19 million households. Swept Away TV is also seen on the internet on Varsity Television (MyVTV.com) and through Comcast On Demand service starting in February 2005.



Some of the artists interviewed by Swept Away TV over the past 5 years include Maroon5, Avril Lavigne, The Black Eyed Peas, New Found Glory, Dashboard Confessional, Hoobastank, Good Charlotte, Seether, Reel Big Fish, The Presidents of the United States, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Story of the Year, Michelle Branch, and Ryan Cabrera. It is worthwhile to note that all selections of artists are made by the teens themselves and that many of the above artists interviewed were discovered by the Swept Away team long before they became famous.



Genres accepted: Everything but hard-core rap. They have to censor all cursing.



All submissions must have a video available for air. They can take MiniDV, DVD or VHS. No BETASP. They can not air videos of a lewd or excessively violent nature and reserve the right to make those decisions based on what they've been able to get away with in the past.
