Songs With Vision: The Alternate Root Valentine Sampler - 2010

This is the LAST CHANCE to submit to the Alternate Root. The compilation series is continued with a Valentine's Day release. Songs about both sides of love. A minimum of three slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists, and there is no additional cost for inclusion.

The previous Songs With Vision sampler was released at the end of 2009 and was downloaded by over 3,000 people. It will have online distribution through The Alternate Root website, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Constant Contact as well as mailings to music blogs./n/nThe Alternate Root continues is compilation series with a Valentine's Day release. Songs With Vision is looking for tracks in the roots music style, anything organic. They are looking for relationship songs, pros and cons. Songs about both sides of love. A minimum of three slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists, and there is no additional cost for inclusion.



Americana, alternative country, blues, soul, country, rock, etc. will all be considered. The sampler will be released online and available for download and streaming. It will have online distribution through The Alternate Root website, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Constant Contact as well as mailings to music blogs. This compilation is planned to be released in early February, 2010. Five Sonicbids artists were selected for the previous Songs With Vision listing for holidays songs and was very successful. The holiday sampler released at the end of 2009 and was downloaded by over 3,000 people. The songs were picked up by music blogs and distributed virally.
