Summary

Texas A&M University-Commerce is looking for performers for their Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 sessions. A&M-Commerce is an hour from Dallas, Texas with an enrollment of 9,000
students and a high commuter population.


For the rest of the year, they are looking for touring local and regional acts to meet the diverse needs of their campus.
The school is a NACA member and are building a new music series using comedy, club, variety artist and bands. Genres accepted include Acoustic, Alternative, Comedy, Folk, Funk, Blues, Hip-Hop/Rap, Reggae,
Singer/Songwriter, Rock, Spoken Word, Urban/R&B, Jazz, and Jam Band,
Speakers and Variety artists.



They will be moving to a new facility in December but currently they have several venues:




  • Outdoor Venues

  • Ballroom Complex - holds up to 1,000 people

  • Small Club Space - 150 people

  • Auditorium - 1,200 people




The school will be issuing contracts with selected artists as part of the performance agreements.
