2013 Taste of Chicago Presents: The Bud Light Stage

This is your chance to play the Bud Light Stage at the Taste of Chicago, an event which attracts more than 1.2 million visitors annually. The Taste of Chicago runs July 10-14th, 2013 and takes place in Grant Park, along the lakefront in downtown Chicago. The event is a food and music festival, featuring dozens of local restaurants, cooking demonstrations, a family area, music stages, a Race to Taste and more.



The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events is now accepting EPK submissions from bands in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area ONLY, for consideration to perform on the Bud Light Stage, a stage that showcases the best of both up and coming and well-known favorite bands from the Chicagoland area. The number of performance slots to be filled will be determined at a later date. Selected artists will be compensated. Bands will also be provided full backline, 2 parking passes, and water/pop on site.



All musical styles will be considered. No profanity, descriptions of violence or vulgarity will be accepted. All music must be family-friendly.



Past performers include: Kid, You'll Move Mountains; Scotland Yard Gospel Choir; Chicago Afrobeat Project; El Payo Nuevo Flamenco; The Waco Brothers; 8 Bold Souls and Shekinah Glory Ministry.



Please note: If you are not from the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area, you are not eligible and you will not be considered. Please do not apply if your band is based more than 50 miles outside of Chicago.
