The project is a teen soap opera for the Internet and will be shown on multiple video hosting and distribution sites. There will be some compensation upfront (from $5 for a short clip up to $100 for the theme song).

They are mostly looking for indie rock (alternative/emo/pop) for their first 4 episodes, but are also open to other genres; they need one r&b song and one rap song. Each episode is about 7 minutes long and the show is very music driven (like a MTV series). Songs will usually play for about 30 seconds but they are looking for songs that lead into the end credits and those will play slightly longer. They are still looking for the main title them for the show as well.

Artists will also receive:

  1. Credits for the song, writer & artist in the end credits
  2. A link to band website.

  3. Be featured on the music page of the show’s website with artist art, a short bio and links to websites (artist site, social networking sites)

  4. Added to favorite music and blog mention on the show’s MySpace and Facebook

  5. Opportunity to perform on the show in future episodes in Los Angeles

It’s their intention to promote the music and the artists on the show and to help the artist’s music discovered by a wider audience.
