Taking submissions for acts looking to play at Tender Trap and/or other small to mid-sized venues in the NYC area. Tape and C.D. Records is seeking bands to play this winter.
The Opportunity
Tender Trap is a popular music venue located in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. It's a funky urban bar with DJs, go-go dancers, live music & racy events.
This is a great opportunity to play at one of Brooklyn's most unique music venues. Slots are usually at 8, 9, 10 and 11. Acts must be able to bring a minimum of 10 people. If you think you can get people to come, we will work out the time slot and musical bill that works best for you.
The Band
- Preferred acts: experimental or semi-experimental, rock: post-punk, emo, goth, indie, avant-garde, electronica.
- I also sometimes book stuff like Hip-hop, pop, and jazz, but those aren't my fortes.
- If you have a unique sound and can bring a crowd, please apply!
The Gig
- Sound and lights provided
- Sets are 30-45 Minutes
- Bands may sell their own merch and keep 100% of their collected money
- We have more dates available than those listed. If you're interested in playing our venue, apply and we'll send you availabilities that we think fit your band!

- Bands receive 80% of their ticket sales after the first polled 10 tickets are collected at the door
