Texas Music Magazine - Winter 2008 issue

Texas Music magazine’s mission is to both educate its readers about great contemporary bands from the state as well as provide interesting historical perspectives on music in Texas. It also entertains them with humorous stories about many of Texas’ colorful personalities and provides coverage of music events from around the Lone Star State. Texas Music magazine is the first place Texans turn for information on all things music in Texas.

The quarterly, color, glossy magazine reaches music fans in all 50 states via subscriptions. It is available on newsstands in more than 2,500 locations, including Borders Books & Music, Wal-Mart, Hastings, Books-A-Million, Albertson’s, H-E-B, Kroger and Randall’s.

Texas Music’s feature stories can only be described in one way – diverse. Covering all genres of music, the magazine ensures that its readers find a wide variety of artists in each issue. In addition to features, the magazine includes recent news; CD reviews; calendar listings of music festivals and events; spotlights on up-and-coming talent; Q&As; as well as stories highlighting Texas music pioneers, historical venues and much more. This is your chance to be considered for anything from a CD review to a feature article. When you submit your EPK, it will be reviewed by the staff at Texas Music magazine. The type of editorial coverage you receive is at the discretion of the magazine staff.
