Summary
Texas Music Magazine is looking for one artist for a compilation CD that will be distributed with the Spring 2008 issue of the magazine. 12,000 copies are pressed and reach subscribers as well as Texas music radio stations and record labels throughout the country.
This slot (valued at over $500) will be available to one artist free of charge. In addition to being on the CD, the selected artist will receive a short bio and CD artwork in the magazine itself.
Previous artists to be featured on the CD include: Billy Joe Shaver, Bob Schneider, Charlie Robison, Darryl Lee Rush, Eli Young Band, Freddie Steady, Honeybrowne, Jason Boland, Patrice Pike, Randy Rogers Band, Robert Earl Keen, Shooter Jennings, The Derailers and Walt Wilkins.
To be selected, artist MUST have a story that relates to Texas in some way, whether born and bred or relocated. Also, the sound of the artist should be effervescing the sounds and style of Texas Music.
