The 4th Annual World of Rap Awards

The World of Rap Awards is a music award presentation organized to highlight the Positive World of Rap. It is planned as a two hour entertainment television special. The program will be recorded on Feb. 15, 2007, at The Paris Ballroom in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada. It will serve as a benefit show for several national non profit organizations.

The program will feature an array of popular Rap personalities who hail from the music, film and television industries. The edited program will be distributed to network, independent and affiliated television stations of significant demographic appeal across the US and international markets to be later broadcasted. The audience of approximately 1,922 will consist of approximately 244 Celebrities, 1124 VIPs and Special Guest and 554 Fans and Contest winners.

Rap, Urban, R&B, Comedy, Blues, and AC submissions will be accepted. Selected artists will receive $250 compensation for their performance. There is one slot reserved for Sonicbids artists.

Past participants include Common, Shawnna (DTP), Violator artist, and G-Unit's "The Game". Some of this years sponsors are Cartoon Network, B.E.T.com , TVT Records, Sony/BMG, Violator, & DreamSound Entertainment.
