The Abbey (Jan-Apr '12)

The Abbey, located in Santa Cruz, CA, is a coffee, art, and music lounge known for its gourmet roasts, warm atmosphere, spacious stage, and ample sound system.
Owned and operated by Vintage Faith Church, it is looking to book local to touring solo artists and bands to perform live on Saturday, Sunday, and occasional Friday nights. The Abbey welcomes a wide variety of genres and styles, especially singer/songwriters and jazz. As a family friendly environment, all peeps are welcome.



Selected artists receive:

• Artists will be compensated with customer tips


• Artists can sell their merchandise and keep 100% of the profits


• A sound system and a sound engineer will be provided at the venue, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any additional equipment


• Bottomless award-winning, gourmet coffee drinks

The Abbey, capacity 100, is a coffeehouse that hosts talent up and coming musicians. It serves the best quality organic teas and coffees, as well as delicious locally made pastries. Its customers enjoy free Wi Fi and computer access, and a cozy atmosphere with warm service.
