The Alternate Root, an interactive music magazine, is seeking song submissions from singer/songwriters to review and profile in their weekly "Featured Artists" section. All artists must have a full album in order to submit. Once accepted, songs will be reviewed in the magazine and success stories of note will be profiled. Songs should be exciting and contain good hooks, both musical and lyrical. Space is limited but all music that is exciting, fresh and honors the past while expanding on the genre will be considered.
