The Artel (May-Aug '11)

The Artel is seeking artists who wish to rent space for a $50 fee for the entire day or evening. Artists may then charge their desired rate at the door and are asked to provide their own door personnel. Local, regional, and national artists are all welcome. Preferred genres include indie, folk, acoustic, electronic, experimental, hip hop, and spoken word. Artists must be able to draw at least 20 people to each performance

Selected artists receive:

• Artists retain 100% of door sales


• The Artel will provide 2 speakers, 2 monitors, mixer amp, and 2 microphones


• The Artel staff will be available to show the artists around the location, but are not in charge of the event.

The Artel offers a very relaxed space for artists to rent. The Artel has a capacity of 60 people and accepts artists of a variety of genres.
