The Artist Revolution/Voodoo Music Experience 2007 Present: Play Voodoo!

Theartistrevolution.com and the Voodoo Music Experience are giving you the opportunity to play on the Playstation/Billboard Stage at this year’s Voodoo Music Experience to be held October 26, 27, 28, 2007 in New Orleans. Play amongst artists like The Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against the Machine, Common, Gym Class Heroes, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and many others. Submit today for consideration!

Artist Revolution will be reviewing artist EPK submissions and selecting the top 10 artists. These 10 artists will then be included in online voting, to take place from October 12 - October 18, 2007 on the Artist Revolution web site, www.theartistrevolution.com Selected artists will be required to set up a profile on the Artist Revolution web site for purposes of online voting. The artist who gets the most votes will play at the Voodoo Music Experience on Saturday, October 27th on the Playstation/Billboard Stage in the Le Ritual festival area. This artist will also receive:

• $500 cash.

• One (1) Artist Pass/Credentials per band member for the day of performance (Good for admission all three days).

• 3 General Admission passes for guests for the day of performance

• Festival Backline Provided (amps, drum kit, keyboards, backline in excess of Festival provisions can be provided at a cost to the performer)

• All travel and lodging expenses and arrangements shall be the sole responsibility of the selected artist.

The competition is open to all genres of music. This contest is open persons 18 years of age or older.

Please note: All artists who enter must be available to be in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 26th and 27th of 2007. There is just over a week between the results of online voting and the date of the performance so please be sure that you are available to travel to New Orleans on short notice.
