Summary

The Axiom Youth Center, located in Oroville, CA, opened its doors in August of 2007 as a safe place where Jr. high and high school students could go after school. It is looking to book local, regional and touring artists and bands to perform live on Saturdays once a month. Axiom welcomes pop, rock, metal, folk and most genres, as long as there are no obscenities. Artists must be able to draw 15 people.



Selected artists receive:


  • Artists receive compensation to be negotiated

  • Artists can sell merchandise

  • A PA, mics, and sound engineer will be provided

Axiom can hold 350 people, and is open weekly from 3:00 - 6:00pm for middle school and high school students. The center is fully funded by donations.
