The Bea's Knees Bash 2011

The Bea's Knees Bash is an annual event that takes place at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma each Fall. It mainly features acoustic bands and solo artists, and there are usually about 8-9 acts on the bill. Bands cannot be compensated, but this is a great opportunity to get some publicity and performance experience in Southern Oklahoma. The event originally started in 2009 as a house party in a single bedroom duplex during the fall semester. It ended up generating a lot of buzz and drew almost 100 people. For the related spring event, the Bomboy Blast event, the attendance exploded to over 200 people its first time around. These two events are quickly catching wind and becoming bigger and bigger, so the 2011 is expected to be bigger than ever.
