PLAY: The Boobie Trap Bar (KS) Winter

Get to play the legendary Boobie Trap Bar, and rock out! Located in Emporia this rockin' bar has a history of playing awesome bands and getting awesome fans to watch. This is THE place in Topeka, so if you want exposure and experience let that application fly! The Boobie Trap is currently looking for Sonicbids artists this winter!

The Trap Books Tue/Fri/Sat - Sun/Mon/Thu may be available under ideal circumstances (local support, unique artists, etc.)

TRAP FREE CONCERT SERIES - On TUESDAYS over the last few years we have been having success by doing FREE shows. We can offer $50 - $75 and more if we get a good crowd as we still have some production costs and such (generally try to get acts $100). Bands have seemed pretty satisfied with this arrangement and most contact us for a return visit to The Trap.

• We have more dates available than those listed. If you're interested in playing our venue, apply and we'll send you availabilities that we think fit your band!
• If you're looking to get involved in a progressive music scene and meet other musicians and gain new fans, this is the gig for you
• Bands must promote shows
• Bands must have solid online presence

• Rap and Hip Hop Artists: The Trap provides mics and PA gear with RCA, 1/8, or 1/4 in. inputs. The Trap does not provide CD Player, laptop, or other playing device or person to run such equipment. If you need an adapter from 1/8 in to RCA or 1/4 in. you must provide it. We have an in- house system that is set up and ready to go. There is no need for sound checking. The first artist will sound check for the last artist as they will use the same channels.

• The majority of your band should arrive no later than 8:30. If there is a problem then all bands need to be ready to go first. Also if the opening bands have to sit through the last bands set before they get paid, then the last band should be there early as well.
