The Boro Bar & Grill

The Boro Bar and Grill, located in Murfreesboro, TN is looking to book local, regional, and touring bands to perform live on Friday and Saturday nights. They are seeking acoustic, Americana, alternative, blues, bluegrass, classic rock, country, cover band, folk, funk, jam band, metal, pop, punk, reggae, rock, and soul./n/nThe Boro Bar and Grill, located in Murfreesboro, TN is looking to book local, regional, and touring bands to perform live on Friday and Saturday nights. They are seeking acoustic, Americana, alternative, blues, bluegrass, classic rock, country, cover band, folk, funk, jam band, metal, pop, punk, reggae, rock, and soul. Artists should ideally have a draw of 60+. Band members must be 21+ and artists should promote their gig with flyers.

Here’s what selected artists get:

• On "Frugal Fridays", there is no cover. Bands are compensated with tips, merch sales, free meals for up to 6 members, and 4 pitchers of Bud or Bud Lite


• On Saturdays, there is a mandatory cover of $3-6. The venue takes $1 from each wristband sold and band retains the rest. No hospitality provided on Saturdays.


• A door guy is provided when there is a cover charge


• Bands should provide their own PA system

About the venue:

The Boro Bar & Grill was established in 1985 to provide M.T.S.U., Murfreesboro, and Middle Tennessee communities with an ice cold beer, fresh beef burger, and a friendly, neighborhood bar atmosphere. Since their beginning, the beer selection has grown to include over 200 types of bottled and 24 types of draft beer. They have wine, 10 varieties, and a list of sandwiches, salads, and appetizers to our menu. Live music is featured four nights each week. Through the changes and additions one standard remains the same: "The cleanest little dive bar this side of the river" is still a friendly, neighborhood bar.
