Summary
The Breezeway Bar is a student run and owned pub located on the Memorial University of Newfoundland campus in Canada. The capacity of the bar is 1000+ and is a cornerstone of the MUN culture. The Breezeway Bar has hosted such artists as Alice Cooper, Green Day, The Tragically Hip, and more!
MUN Students' Union (The Bars Proprietor) is currently seeking artists for the 2007-2008 academic year. They hold 5-10 live artist shows per semester at the Breezeway Bar frequently catering to a full house. In addition, they hold a week long festival at the beginning of February called Winter Carnival, featuring several artists of different genres. They are interested in local and Canadian artists.
The venue is located in the heart of St. John's, Newfoundland. Artists will be compensated for their performances, travel fees may be included, and travel arrangements can be made for artists who wish to experience Newfoundland culture.
