Summary

The Carbondale Mountain Fair features three days of music, arts and crafts booths, food and a children's area. The fair is great exposure for any up-and-coming act. It boasts two stages, expects to reel in 20,000 attendees and provides artists with some lodging and $800 - $1,800. Artists in a wide variety of genres are encouraged to submit./n/nHaving started 40 years ago, the Carbondale Mountain Fair is one of the original Colorado music fests and draws around 20,000 people each year. Featuring three days of music on 2 stages, over 125 arts and crafts booths, an array of food and a children's area, the Mountain Fair is great exposure for any up-and-coming act. Artists in a wide variety of genres are encouraged to submit.



Selected artists will receive a performance fee of $800-$1800 for a 90-minute set and reimbursement of some travel expenses, as well as great exposure playing in front of around 20,000 festival attendees.


Benefiting the Carbondale Council on Arts and Humanities, the festival will take place July 29-31, 2011 and is sure to bring in numerous people throughout the state. Previous bands have included String Cheese Incident, Blue Highway, Crooked Still, Kelley Hunt, Tim O'Brien and many more.
