Thursday Nights at The Chicken Bone

The Chicken Bone in Framingham, MA, is well known for its live music and especially their food. Best known for hosting great blues bands, they have recently expanded to include all types of music playing 5 nights a week.



They are looking mainly for full bands and acoustic duos that play covers or original bands that can play set comprised mostly of covers. Genres accepted include rock, funk, groove, hip hop, blues, classic rock, and jazz. Bands are paid depending on skill and draw. Sound equipment and engineer are provided and shows typically run from 9pm - 12:30am.



They are typically booked 6 months in advance, but still have many open Thursday night gigs open for October. Bands that play perform well on Thursday will be considered for Friday and Saturday night shows. The capacity of the venue is 150.



“The Bone” is still the place to “Lose the Blues” but now you can tap your toes to the best of Boston’s bands right here in Metro West.
