Benefits for Selected Artists:

• Artists will be compensated. This amount will be negotiated at the time of booking.


• Exposure while performing live in front of 250-500 people (at capacity).

A sound system and a sound engineer will be provided at the venue, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and additional equipment.

The Chicken Box is an "Internationally Infamous" venue, full of a variety of popular musical sounds and styles. Over the years, the Chicken Box gained a reputation as the venue where top-notch Reggae bands performed. The Captain's conditions for the privilege of playing at the Chicken Box was that the musicians had to agree to play music that was danceable and acceptable to the majority of his patrons. The Chicken Box will continue to be unpretentious, friendly and relaxing. It will always be the place where people from all walks of life gather for fun and entertainment.
