Summary
The CMA of Texas will accept submission for various categories of awards to be given at the first annual event scheduled for October 29, 2014 at The Crescent Moon in The Woodlands. The association was founded by Bud Fisher, a radio personality in the Waco, TX area, whose love of country music led him to devote his life to its promotion via his early formation of the CMA of Texas.
Today, it has become an official legal entity recognized by the State of Texas, and is actively taking its place to award and recognize outstanding musicians and country music contributors. The various categories include:

The artists and contributors will not be offered monetary compensation.
Terms And Conditions
Each performing artist will be offered a performance slot at the awards ceremony (sound and back line furnished). Much like the Country Music Awards are conducted in Nashville, this is a huge marketing opportunity for any performing artist. It will also be an interactive opportunity with media, fans and sponsors.
