PLAY: The Corner Lounge (CAN) Winter

The Corner Lounge is the staple of live music In downtown Nanaimo, British Colombia. An intimate setting offering the finest cocktails, local craft beers and of course the best live music on the island. Live music we bring it all, Rock, Punk, Funk, Blues, Jazz and Whatever... Open Mic and Jam Tuesday's, Wednesday it’s Karaoke on The Corner, Thursday we Laugh with Mid Island Comedy, Friday its Live Bands, lots of them. Saturday's we Dance with the Hottest DJ’s and then its the Sunday Jazz Sessions and Jam and the best in local and traveling bands. The Corner Lounge is currently looking for the best acts on the island this winter.

Known as the city by the sea, Nanaimo is a hotbed for music culture and laid-back living. The Corner Lounge is a little bit raw, a little bit awesome, and a whole lot of fun. The Corner Lounge is for the locals, and we strive to give a platform to the Nanaimo music scene. We bring it all from Rock, Punk, Funk, Blues, Jazz, to Jam Bands

We welcome just about any kind of music as long as it's good and uplifting. Out of town acts are welcome to apply, but we really want to focus on the local scene. Cover bands are also welcome

Bands must be actively playing shows 

Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

Bands are able to sell merch on-site

This is also a great opportunity for local, regional up and coming acts to get more visibility
