The Decanted Series at Lion d'Or

The Hyperbole Music Decanted Series is part wine tasting, part concert and all around remarkable experience. Combining the right atmosphere with the right music and the right people is what makes these evenings so memorable. It’s about making wine more accessible, less pretentious and more fun by pairing it with live music in this beautiful venue, located in Montreal, QC.



Evenings start with a sommelier introducing a selected winery and their products. A presentation is given on the region where the winery is located followed by a presentation of the winery’s selected products. Guests have a chance to sample these wines as the presentation occurs. The evening then moves on to the musical component of the event with an opening 30 minute set from an emerging artist followed by a full set featuring some of the best local and touring artists around.



This monthly series is seeking sophisticated, acoustic acts including blues, jazz, folk, pop, and world for their sit-down wine-tasting atmosphere. Selected opening acts will be compensated with an amount around $500, and headliners will receive $1,500 and up.
