The Grand Tavern

The Grand Tavern is one of the top premier music venues in Southern OH, located in downtown historic Waverly, OH. This venue has a capacity of 263 and is actively seeking bands for Friday and Saturday nights to perform from 10:15pm-1:50am (2-3 sets).



Rock, alternative rock, acoustic rock, pop, jazz, blues, alternative country, bluegrass, funk, and disco artists and cover bands are encouraged to apply. The Grand Tavern hosts local, regional, and semi national acts who will be traveling through the area.



It is strongly encouraged that bands performing at Grand Tavern for the first time mix covers into their set. The Grand Tavern isn't a concert hall- it is an upbeat club with live music every weekend. Original bands are warmly welcomed. The club just asks each band to use their judgment to entertain the crowd.



Artists will be compensated for their performances. In addition to drink discounts/tab as hospitality, bands receive a guarantee between $400.00- $600.00 depending on the status of the artist. Bands will receive no less than 400.00 dollars. The cap may be negotiable if an artist is signed, has extensive radio play, etc.



Bands need to provide their own PA system. The Grand Tavern can have a sound engineer bring equipment and run the board for a charge of $100.00 to the artist.
