The Halloween Blast (Roanoke, VA)

The second annual Halloween Blast is coming to the Roanoke Civic Center in Roanoke, VA on October 31st, 2009. They're looking for a band that can play music that fits the Halloween theme. Compensation is negotiable but will have to fit in the range of $1,000 to $3,000. The band will need to dress up in costume for the event; costumes can be of the bands choosing and do not have to match.



The selected band must have a draw in the Roanoke area and play primarily covers for the event. That could mean you've got name recognition in the area or that you have some "Halloween related novelty" that fits. In the past they have filled with a local band but now we want to bring something new and exciting to Roanoke. The event includes Roanoke's largest costume contest and is promoted heavily in the area.



Sponsor Hounds LLC is Roanoke's only for-profit event company and has been around for 3 years.
