The Monopole - Plattsburgh, NY

The Monopole, located in Plattsburgh, NY, is a downtown bar with a laid back atmosphere held in its beautiful building built in the 1800's. It is looking to book local to touring solo artists and bands to perform live on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The Monopole welcomes a wide variety of genres. Artists must be able to draw at least 30 people to the show, and be 21 years or older to play. Artists will be compensated. Here’s what selected artists get:

• Artists will be compensated. This amount will be negotiated at the time of booking.


• A sound and lighting system and a sound engineer will be provided at the venue, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments, backline and any additional equipment.

The Monopole, capacity 120, is popular bar that draws a mix of college kids and locals to share in its fun atmosphere and great live music. From the original woodwork and the original stained glass, it is all there in the same place as when the doors first opened in the late 1800's. The Monopole is now in their third century of serving the North Country.
