Summary

The National Gospel Artist Showcase is a nonprofit organization designed to assist gospel artists with marketing, promotions, and booking.


We work with World Visions International; a non profit Christian organization that works with children at risk in over 100 developing countries.


Now in our Third year, the National Gospel Artist Showcase has launched a new TV show on the AIB Network. Artists who register to perform do so on a voluntary basis. The showcase is seen by over 850,000 viewers in the Atlanta metro area as well as being broadcast on Comcast channel 5. At least 3 artist form Sonicbids will be selected. There are some opportunities for Artist to sell merchandise at selected venues. If Selected, Artist are promoted through radio, TV, print, and the internet.


The objective of the National Gospel Artist Showcase is to give independent artists an opportunity to showcase their work, as well as being recognized by some leading experts within the music industry. Some of the most talented and influential judges in the industry have participated in past showcases: Mr. Rowland Hairston, Marketing Director for Gospel Today Magazine, Tia Smith, Producer for the BET Bobby Jones Gospel Show, Andrea William, coordinator for the Grammy Awards, Ben Akhi, vice president of the Georgia Music Industry Association, and Mr. David Asch, vice president of Gospel Music for the Providence Music Group.


Through the Media, sponsors of KFC, Gospel Today Magazine, Nu Gospel Broadcast Network, Clear Channel Communications Radio Network, Provident Music Distribution Group, Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters, Inspirations Across America Radio Network, Club Praise Internet magazine, Black Gospel National Promotional Company, Bluecreek Software Systems, Bandlink.com, The Birmingham Times, were we able to successfully tour four cities in 2003 with venues in: Atlanta, GA. Central Baptist Church May 16, 2003 attendance 800; Columbia, SC Bethal AME Church June 20, 2003 attendance 987; Birmingham, Al., The More Than Conquerors Faith Church July 18, 2003 attendance 1000.


The National Gospel Artist Showcase’s goal is to establish 20 of the top overall markets within the next five years.
