Summary

The Next Country Classic is a free internet song contest for original holiday and seasonal songs. TNCC showcases songs that may not always be "cutting edge" according to current music trends, but rather, may stand the "test of time" for years to come. Artists may submit entries and compete for a First Place award of $300 as well as the opportunity to be presented to major label recording artists for inclusion on their 2011 projects./n/nThe Next Country Classic is a free internet song contest for original holiday and seasonal songs. Artists may submit entries and compete for a First Place award of $300 as well as the opportunity to be presented to major label recording artists for inclusion on their 2011 projects. The second and third place songs will receive cash prizes of $150 and $100, respectively.

During each of the three consecutive Semifinals weeks beginning September 4, 2011, online voters will determine which songs will advance to the final. The Finals will then be held the week of September 25, 2011.

The winner of The Next Country Classic 2011 will be announced October 5, 2011.

Again this year, they welcome Springbarrel Songwriter Services as a major sponsor. Springbarrel has a distinguished history of representing the catalogs of some of the best songwriters in Nashville and TNCC is honored by their participation. Their songwriting services provide an additional cash value of $1800 for qualifying songs which they will be actively seeking to license with major artist and media outlets.
