Artists may submit entries and compete for a First Place award of $300 as well as the opportunity to be presented to major label recording artists for inclusion on their 2011 holiday projects. The second and third place songs will receive cash prizes of $150 and $100, respectively.

During each of the three consecutive Semifinals weeks beginning November 28, 2010, online voters will determine which songs will advance to the final. The Finals will then be held the week of December 19, 2010. The final winner of The Next Holiday Classic 2010 will be announced December 28, 2010.

New this year, they welcome Springbarrel Songwriter Services as a major sponsor. Springbarrel has a distinguished history of representing the catalogs of some of the best songwriters in Nashville and we are honored by their participation. Their songwriting services provide an additional cash value of $1800 for qualifying songs which they will be actively seeking to license with major artist and media outlets.
