Summary

The Nite Owl in Dayton, Ohio is looking for bands and DJs of all genres with an original sound for its popular Freeform Thursdays. All styles of music are featured, and acts with an underground sound are preferred. Crowd size ranges from 50-100 people, and the venue capacity is about 150. Shows will be advertised by distributing hand bills and posters around the local area and on the web. Two or three acts are booked for each night. 100% of the cover charge goes to compensate the performers, and is divided equally between each act. Hotels or guarantees are not provided.

The Nite Owl was originally known as a coffee shop and has now grown into a bar and live music business. Over the last 20 years of operation, it has expanded to feature all genres of live music and has hosted numerous outstanding national and local acts. Professional sound equipment and an engineer as well as a great staff are all on hand.
