The Pillow Project, held on April 2nd, 2011, is an event designed to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club of Brazos Valley and America, as well as an event where there is live music, speeches, special guests, vendors, bungee runs, a rock wall, video game tents, a raffle drawing and a silent auction. There is 1 slot reserved for a Sonicbids artists to perform at the event in front of around 5,000 people. Preferred genres include alternative, rock, acoustic, hip hop and country. Compensation is negotiated upon booking. The Pillow Project is open to local, regional and nationally touring bands, who play alternative, rock, acoustic, hip hop and country music. Compensation is negotiated upon booking. The opportunity will provide bands with tons of exposure, as well as a chance to sell their merchandise. Sound equipment will be provided to the selected artists by the venue.




Headphones 4 Hope is the host of the event, and setting everything up. They are a non-profit organization at the Texas AandM University, designed to put on concerts and shows and give the profits earned to charities. The event is located in College Station, Texas, about an hour away from Houston or 2 hours from Austin or 3 hours from Dallas.
