Summary

The Real Big Deal is Gainesville, Florida's only music, camping, and arts festival. This brand new festival will take place on September 13th and 14th at the Alachua County Fairgrounds with over 60 national, regional, and local bands on 4 stages. Confirmed headliners include Drive-by Truckers, Motion City Soundtrack, Mates of State, Mae, Benevento/Russo Duo, Straylight Run, MC Chris and more to be announced.



The Real Big Deal is now accepting submissions artists in the genres of alternative, rock, punk, emo, ska, hip-hop, funk, reggae and world music. There is at least 1 reserved slot for Sonicbids members. Selected artists will be compensated for their performances as well as catering, VIP camping, and weekend passes for artists and crew. This eclectic community event will surely become a highlight in Gainesville's music, arts and culture scene.
