Summary

The Rialto Theater is a live music venue and classic movie theater in Denison, Texas. A unique venue steeped in history which hosts a wide variety of events, such as live concerts, theatrical performances, comedy shows, recitals, historical tours, conferences, seminars, parties, weddings, and many more events. We're currently looking for local acts for the fall/winter. 

The Opportunity

Built by L.M. Rideouton, the Rialto Theater opened its doors on August 4, 1920.
Located on Main Street in historic downtown Denison, Texas, we're the largest theater in the area and have seen legends play the stage since the opening. This is a huge opportunity for local acts to play this legendary stage and build and play in front of your hometown.

The Band


  • We're looking for Bluegrass bands only

  • Bands must be actively playing shows 
  • Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
  • Acts must have a solid online presence 
  • Bands applying must have a local following and be able to draw a large crowd
Past legendary performers include The Marx Brothers, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, John Wayne, and Elvis Presley, not to mention countless feature film classics over the years.

The Gig

  • Set Length: 40 mins - 1 hour

  • The general backline and PA will be provided
  • Payment TBD upon booking

  • Band call sell their merch on-site

  • Large green available for bands
  • Specifically looking for local openers
  • Capacity 400+
